Demo Day Overview
Demo Day is a virtual pitch event organised by HealthTech Hub Africa, designed to showcase groundbreaking solutions of the HTHA startups and facilitate meaningful connections with potential investors, government stakeholders and diverse funding opportunities. This event serves as a platform for investors, governmental institutions, non-governmental organizations, and partners to engage with Africa’s most promising HealthTech Startups. There are 30 growth startups that come from 12 African countries, namely Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria, Rwanda, Uganda, Ethiopia, Zambia, Cameroon, Zimbabwe, Libya, Tanzania, and Algeria.

- Cardiovascular health,
- Breast cancer
- Virtual Health and care,
- Optimization of data-driven decision making
These startups are introducing disruptive business models that aim at strengthening health systems and influence the healthcare policy landscape across the continent.
Presentation schedule:
Each day of the Demo Day will follow this schedule to ensure an engaging and productive experience:
- Introduction of the HealthTech Hub Africa
- Each company will have 5 minutes to pitch their solutions
- This will be followed by 3 minutes of feedback from the panel of experts
- Once all the pitches are complete, we will host breakout sessions for active small group networking and Q&A, lasting for 15 minutes. These sessions will have investors, startups and other stakeholders, providing an opportunity to network and engage with each other.
