The HealthTech Hub Africa Accelerator Our mission is to support governments, start-ups and scale-ups to collaborate on data and technology-enabled innovations that strengthen health systems in Africa.

About the accelerator

The HTHA Accelerator program supports healthtech startups and scale-ups that are committed to solving Africa’s most pressing healthcare challenges through partnerships with governments and the public sector.

We provide a supportive peer and partner ecosystem, exclusive access to government stakeholders, and tailored resources to foster innovation, promote scalability, and drive the development of impactful health technologies in Africa.

We work closely with government partners to create opportunities for ventures to demonstrate their solutions and achieve meaningful public health outcome.

Our Goals

The HealthTech Hub Africa aims to support local authorities in addressing major health challenges in low-income and underserved populations through catalytic partnerships. Our core goals are to:

Support local startups to deliver impactful, data-driven HealthTech innovations that generate evidence on reducing health inequities.

Create a launchpad for local HealthTech solutions with regional and global potential by fostering dialogue and partnerships among innovators, policymakers, funders, and researchers.

Inform forward-looking health policies on the use of data and technology in public health systems.

Growth Startups

These ventures offer products or services that generate measurable health benefits and demonstrate a rigorous approach to impact monitoring, whether at the client, patient, community, or health worker level.

As part of the cohort, startups will refine their business models, validate their solutions, and explore integration opportunities within public health systems.
