HTHA Resource Hub The HealthTech Hub Africa (HTHA) Resource Hub is a dynamic platform designed to help users easily access essential information and policy resources. It brings together a wide range of materials - including policies, tools, case studies, standards, guidance documents, and technical reports - to support innovators, investors, governments, and other stakeholders involved in developing and scaling digital health solutions. By offering contextualized examples and actionable resources, the HTHA Resource Hub empowers users to turn information into meaningful impact.

Why the Resource Hub?

The HTHA resource hub aims to address four key challenges within the African healthtech ecosystem for its users.

Fragmented resources:

Digital health policy and implementation resources are often dispersed across multiple platforms, making it difficult for time-constrained stakeholders to locate, interpret, and apply relevant information.

  • Solution:

The Resource Hub serves as a centralized repository, offering easy access to all relevant digital health policy materials.

Vague policy processes:

Many innovators lack clarity on national policy frameworks, regulatory pathways, and approval processes, creating significant barriers to launching, integrating, and scaling solutions within public health systems.

  • Solution:

The Resource Hub features comprehensive policy analysis from six countries, with plans to expand coverage. It also offers advocacy tools to help start-ups and implementers effectively engage with policymakers and navigate regulatory challenges.

Many start-ups often lack the resources to promote their innovations to governments and investors. As a result, transformative solutions may go unnoticed.
